Delicious Healing is for women who are tired of being hampered by their health. May Johnstone has studied numerous healing modalities over the years and masterfully blends them together to help mature women overcome their health issues.
May was transitioning from a researcher and training module writer into her true love - healing. She wanted her site to really carry the depth and beauty of what she offers. At the same time, her site needed to be grounded and not “new agey.”
We worked together to find this visual look - after some effort. She loved it. Adding a photo she took to the banner sealed the visual look. The organization of the site was very important. She wanted all pages to be two clicks away - which we most accomplished. Lastly, she not only wanted to edit her own content (which she does), she wanted to learn a bit of HTML so she could update the code herself as well. The result is quite a lovely site that we both worked quite hard on.
Working with Dawud has completely changed my perspective on websites. I now understand a lot more about what they need to do, and some more about how they work, and, best of all, I’m no longer afraid of them. I feel confident that I can manage my site, and empowered to take a much bigger role whenever I need another site.
I’ve come to realise that Dawud has a rare combination of skills when it comes to web design: technical expertise, a good design eye, understanding of the marketing process, plus the icing on the cake of being an excellent teacher and coach.
