I used to spend all my pocket money on cassettes (back in the day of Sony's original Walkman) My tastes were a bit heavier, and in those days we had big hair and eyeliner, spandex and lipstick. Guns 'n Roses were a great favourite, along with AC DC, Metallica, Bon Jovi. Twisted Sister and the like. The rock ballads were inevitably my source of inspiration. Then my first true love came around, and her name was Mandy. I discovered Barry Manilow...wow. It has been an awesome musical experience since.
