Thanks David. Next month??? I think that would be nice. And, I’m enjoying the slow and steady progress I’m making. But, what the heck, I’d love to see how I would manage 10,000 comments in a month.

You’ve reached that mark much faster than I did, and I can fully understand why.

And I recently cracked 200 comments on a single post which was totally inspiring, even though most of the people on that post commented entirely for their own benefit hehe..

Second, it’s obvious to me you are interested in people, not just numbers. That’s obvious in the fact you take the time to respond to comments. Each comment. And you develop the relationship, ask questions, go off your blog and comment on others blogs, and all in all, are doing amazing work.

As you know from our phone conversations – I like to talk too. I think that’s one reason why conversations on my blog works for me as well.

What I want from my blog is conversation leading to relationship with my readers. So I’m genuinely interested in ‘my readers’ as the people they are with the ideas and perspectives they have. I certainly feel blessed to be able to meet people through my blog.

Someone write soemthing that stops me and makes me think. Or some says something so beautiful that just go “wow.” Regularly, someone says something that when I reply I get a tear in my eyes, because the words have touched me so.

It’s people in this thread. It’s the voices. It’s the hearts. It’s the souls. It’s all of us and not one of us is a number.

But then we all already knew that.

I just like to talk. That’s how I get so many comments.

And that’s exactly why I started blogging. Just know that I learn from you as well.

And your last remark makes my blush, I’m just here to learn and to enjoy the conversations.

And Liz, it would be interesting to know how many comments she’s gotten. She really gets how to have a conversation on her blog. I watch her intently – even when I’m not commenting.

Let me tell you a secret…(begin whisper) I don’t really care about the numbers, really. I’m in it for the relationships, the sharing, the mutual learning and the conversations. (end whisper) 1000 comments just seems like a nice time to thank everyone who’s participated. I simply feel grateful that so many people have found my blog to be helpful to them.
