Staying with the Phil Gerbyshak theme…
Last year Phil asked for your help to reach 200 blogs with links back to him. He made it, having 231 blogs linking back to him by the first of the year. And, he met 30 new bloggers.
Apparently, Ben Yoskovitz has challenged Phil to ‘go big or go home.’ So now he’s shooting for 2000 bloggers to link back to him by Jan 1, 2008. I enjoy Phil’s blog a ton, so I’m going to help him out as much as I can. You can help him out as well. Simply…

One further goal Phil has with his own “2000 bloggers project” is to meet, in person, 150 bloggers this year – AND take pictures with each of them. Now Phil should get pretty close to that number just speaking at SOBCon07, in Chicago in May. But he’s said he wants to meet 25 bloggers that are not at SOBCon07.

Going from his Linked In Profile, he lives in the Greater Milwaukee Area in Wisconsin.
I read about this elsewhere. It sounds like a good idea to meet bloggers in person. One of the hopes I have for http://www.2kbloggers.com is to organize some meetups so we can get to know each other in person. Blogger meetups are a great idea!

I couldn’t agree more. I’m finding an incredible openness in the blogosphere. And it’s refreshing. I’ve been ‘officially’ blogging for almost two months and I’ve already built relationships – and in some cases partnerships – with a number of bloggers.
Sorry I’m late to the fun.
I am in Milwaukee, right near the wonders of Lake Michigan. Very wonderful spot to be.
And yes, the relationships are definitely why I blog. Without relationships, life is only half (or less) lived.

I couldn’t agree more…life without relationships is empty. One of the reasons ‘we’re here,’ I feel is to get to know one another. On the surface it’s simple, but look behind…
