I’ve learned over the years that the most worthy goals are those that are directly in line with my passion. I can often get my self up for working on the goals that I love – instead of the inflated goals that I think I want or need.

Not sure how, but I just happened across this blog and this post. Love both!

Goals. Yes. I’ve read many books on the subject (and tried many goal-setting systems), and what comes to mind for me at this moment is the oft-stated fact that actually *writing goals down* is so very important when it comes to setting AND achieving those goals. Gotta get it all down on paper (or at least on the computer, I guess)! I always keep that in mind (even with small daily goals & tasks). As the old saying goes…

“What gets measured, gets done.”

I don’t know about the millionaires part, but I can certainly see that I’m still in the upswing of my business. Which is exciting and great.

I think more than anything my post is bringing even deeper clarity into my business.

It reminds me of the books written by millionaires, influential movers-and-shakers, and “social change agents,” who say, “I never really went after money, I just followed my passions, and trusted it would all work out.”

Your post is just on the “pre-” side, rather than the “post-” side.

Personally, I’ve always found that it’s difficult for me to know where I’m going if I haven’t considered the direction I’m heading. Imagine living in Chicago and wanting to travel to New York. You gotta start by knowing that New York is east of Chicago. Planning – even the most modest of goals – makes a huge difference. After all, how do you know you’ve ‘made it’ when you’re unclear where your destination is?
