Hi Dawud
Definitely three books to add to my wish-list (all I have to do know is find reading time ;-))
Thanks for placing this.

Karin H.,
I know. Where do we find the time? I know Guy is controversial – and some feel highly arrogant. But his stuff is really good. And I seem to enjoy his personality. I think it’s because he’s so confident that he doesn’t mind pushing people’s beliefs.
Hi Dawud
Haven’t seen much of Guy to be honest, but my impression (so far) isn’t one of arrogance; more of relating his experiences in a (for me) humorous kind of way. I like his style – very straight forward and no-nonsense
Karin H.,
Oh, just poke around a bit and you’ll find some audio and video of him delivering good information, but doing so with a bit of arrogance. But I’m all for not killing the message because of the messenger.
I, personally, appreciate his no-nonsense approach.
Guy Kawasaki is not also incredibly arrogant, he’s also not a very good VC. But I suppose every public figure has some fans…
Ilya,
I know Guy rubs people a bit. Me, personally, I don’t find him all that arrogant either. I appreciate his straight-shooter ways. Moreover, the guy (no pun intended) really understands evangelism. And for that, I find him interesting, informative and helpful. I’ve always been someone who’s more interested in the message than the messenger.
Is he a good VC? I have no way of truly knowing myself.

Best answer ever!
And IMHO it is always very easy to write negative about any ‘messenger’. Nobody’s perfect 😉
I like his style (as far as I’ve seen, read, heard from him).

Karin H.,
I sure hope so. I don’t want to be held to unrealistic expectations myself. And that’s what seems to happen with public figures…we forget they’re really just like us – with all our imperfections.
As I’ve said, I like Guy’s stuff. I’ve also seen/heard some recordings of him where he pisses some people off – seemingly on purpose. But, that seems to just be Guy.
My favorite part of that was “to eat like a bird and poop like an elephant” haha
Nice find, Ive never seen that before!
Brett,
Yeah, I’ve heard him say that a few times in various places. Boy does it paint an interesting picture, huh?
